A pristine shoreline with stunning alpine views.
Lake Tahoe’s East Shore extends from Glenbrook all the way to Stateline, NV. One of the most sparsely populated areas of the lake, the northern section primarily consists of State Park and Bureau of Land Management land. From Glenbrook down to Stateline you’ll find an array of intimate neighborhoods peppered down the shoreline, many with some of the most amazing views you’ll find on Lake Tahoe.
The most exclusive enclave in Nevada
Glenbrook, NV, the oldest settlement at Lake Tahoe, is an exclusive gated community with under 300 residents. Built around a pristine alpine meadow with dramatic views of Shakespeare rock, residents enjoy a large sandy beach with pier, a gorgeous 9-hole golf course, a private clubhouse with restaurant, and miles of beautiful hiking trails steps from their doors.
A comfortable community with outstanding access
Further south you’ll find Zephyr Cove, a small community of fewer than 600 residents. The community has a very good high school, several gorgeous beaches, good basic shopping and all the amenities of the Zephyr Cove Resort. Here you can get a good meal at a lakeside restaurant, go horseback riding or catch the MS Dixie cruise to Emerald Bay.
Nightlife surrounded by nature
Stateline, NV, is a community of under 900 people where you’ll find the majority of casino resorts at Lake Tahoe. Here you’ll also find the beautiful Edgewood golf course, perfectly situated along the shoreline. There are very nice beaches, hiking trails and homes with lovely lake views the further up Kingsbury Grade you go.
Housing happiness all along the lake
The east shore offers a variety of property, and except for Glenbrook, it’s generally less expensive than Incline Village. Glenbrook starts in the millions and goes up from there. Neighborhoods dotting the shoreline to the south vary widely in price depending on view. Once into Zephyr Cove and Stateline, you’ll start to see an array of condo choices, from beachside conclaves to ski-in, ski-out properties adjacent to Heavenly.
